Little Orphan Archie Broadcasting From The Late Night Lounge – Episode 5

The Little Orphan Archie/Late Night Lounge program ran for 54 episodes on 40+ terrestrial and Internet radio stations in 2005-2006. The music was jazz, blues, swing, country, pop and easy listening, spanning about an 80 year period. The programs contained audio from artists like Bob & Ray, George Burns, Laurel & Hardy and our in-house news authority, Lennie the Cabbie.
In Episode 5, Bob & Ray plan to make bank on their popularity, lend their names to consumer products and consider having their faces on the labels, Guy Marks sings “Loving You Has Made Me Bananas”, things heat up with the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Neil Sedaka is back, (only to break up again), Stan Freberg bashes Tel-e-vee-shun, the Andrew Sisters jump and jive, we visit the Argument Clinic, and Lennie the Cabbie reports on the drawbacks of having sex, while Marvin Gaye calls for Sexual Healing.
