Seattle Radio Theater/KIRO Radio presentation: Dracula

Friday, October 13, 2017 — Bill Wixey sounded a lot like Arnold Schwarzenegger, as he portrayed Professor Abraham Van Helsing in the production, broadcast live from the Triple Door in Seattle. Also pictured are John Maynard (nattily dressed announcer, standing), Ursula Reutin, Tom Tangney, Dan Restione, Jason Rantz, Jim Dever, Tim Haik, and Dave Ross (Ross played the roles of Orson Welles and Count Dracula). The original CBS Mercury Theater of the Air production was heard in 1938.

I’ve never been to a radio play, you and I should go next year. We can grab dinner and take in the production. I bet it was good and a lot of fun.
