Instead of the occasional music breaks on KING’s old “Action Line”, with those who would listen to the program on KING-FM, in which it was simulcast w/the old KING-AM. They could of used the Winner’s Circle clock sound effect as heard on “The Pyramid”. It’s as if the FM station was either going off the air or changing format, that being KING-AM’s format. First, Top-40, then the Soft Rock format. KING-AM, of course stopped playing music in 1982. I sure miss Jim Althoff, who was on KING-AM when it was a news/talk station.
